About Apcoa Parking Norway and the Website.
1.1 Introduction to the terms
These terms and conditions (hereafter called "Terms") apply to all advance bookings made through www.apcoa.no and all Websites operated by Apcoa Parking Norway AS for advance bookings of parking (jointly referred to as " Website"). Please familiarise yourself with the terms applicable to the Website.1.2 The owner of the Website
The Website is owned by Apcoa Parking Norway AS (Enterprise Number 929 292 065 VAT) (hereafter called ”Apcoa Parking Norway”), which is a registered Norwegian company. When you visit or use our Website you automatically agree that this is for private use only. You cannot copy, distribute, change, publish, link to or use any of the information on the Website unless this is solely for your private use, unless Apcoa Parking Norway has given its express prior written permission to do so.
The use of software, routine or device to monitor or disrupt our Internet site is forbidden. You understand and accept that Apcoa Parking Norway can exclude you from the Website without prior notice if you abuse or are in breach of the terms for the use of the Website. In the case of such abuse or breach Apcoa Parking Norway can report the matter to the police and commence legal proceedings to obtain compensation for financial loss or damage.
1.3 Co-operating partners and sister companies
APCOA UK, which is a sister company of Apcoa Parking Norway, which operates similar Websites for other airports in Europe, works together with Apcoa Parking Norway on the day-to-day operation of the Website. This means that quality is assured through the long experience of the world’s leading experts in precisely this type of Website.

1.5 Websites for advance booking of parking and co-operating partners
The website parkering.haugesund.no/ are operated by Apcoa Parking Norway (ref sub-section 1.3), on behalf of Lufthavnutbygging AS for the sale of advance booking at Sandefjord airport Torp. Lufthavnutbygging AS owns the parking areas at its airport. The customer database is owned by Lufthavnutbygging AS, but is utilised in the day-to-day operation of Apcoa Parking Norway.

1.7 Other abbreviations
For the purpose of these terms the reference to "airport" means the actual airport parking is booked at (the parking area at the airport the booking is made for). "You" and "your" refers to the person who executes the advance booking using the Apcoa Parking Norway Website. "We" and "us " refers to Apcoa Parking Norway and the airport in question as described above. The purchase agreement is entered into between ”you” and ”us”.
1.8 Purchase agreement
The terms include important information and describe the rights and obligations of both parties for the terms and conditions incorporated in the purchase agreement.
2.1 Approval of the purchase is deemed to be acceptance of the terms
When you use the Website to book parking space it is deemed that you have accepted these terms. If the terms are breached Apcoa Parking Norway can exclude your from the Website and/or report the matter.
2.2 Minimum and maximum parking period that can be booked in advance
The minimum and maximum period of time that can be booked varies from product to product. Some products are adapted to short-term users who are in a hurry; other products are adapted to customers who require long-term parking for several weeks. The overall limit will however always be within a minimum of 24-hours and maximum 99 consecutive calendar days”. When you operate the calendar function on the first page, the most favourable offers for parking will be displayed in the search window as a proposal for booking.
2.3 How early/late in advance can a booking be made
Bookings can be made up to 12 months in advance of commencement of the parking period and at the latest 24-hours prior to the commencement of the parking period (entering the parking area).
2.4 Reserved space
A space is not reserved for customers who have made an advanced booking. Please park at the first available space that is not marked with ”reserved”, HC or EL-bil (unless you have a valid permit to park in the space). There will however always be a space available for you in the parking facility for which the advance booking was made.
Fees must be paid for Electric vehicles and HC (handicap) permit-bearing vehicles when parking in the facility.
Breach of the terms can result in an inspection fee being levied and that the vehicle is removed from the parking facility. The driver is responsible for payment of the inspection fee and costs incurred in removing (towing) the vehicle and consequent storage.
2.5 Signs show full/closed
Even if the signs at the facility show full or closed, there will always be a space available for customers with a valid advance booking at the facility.
2.6 Allow yourself plenty of time
We recommend that you allow yourself plenty of time for parking in the peak seasons, such as the summer holiday period, Easter and Christmas, as activity at the various parking facilities can be much higher than at other times of the year. Please also refer to sub-section 4.4.
2.7 Non-transferable booking
You cannot make an advance booking in the name of another person. You cannot transfer the booking to another person or to a different parking area or parking facility (for example a different airport or similar).
2.8 Validity of the booking
The booking is only valid for the date / time / parking facility and the airport stated in your order. If your vehicle remains parked in excess of the booked period of time, you will be charged an additional parking fee at the applicable rates for the facility.
3.1 Order confirmation / receipt
When you use the Website to book parking in advance you will receive an order confirmation / receipt via the e-mail address you stated when booking. This order confirmation / receipt includes all details of the booking.
The e-mail includes your receipt together with a unique reference number for the advance booking.
4.1 Prices stated on the Website
Parking spaces are priced for full or partial 24-hour periods. Prices are subject to change without notice due to fluctuations in for example capacity / availability / demand. The offer you have received is only valid at the time the advance booking was executed and is based on your choice of time and date stated when you used the Website. The number of full days (24-hour periods) and price are calculated on the basis of the time you choose to execute the advance booking.
All prices shown on the Website are displayed in Norwegian kroner and are inclusive VAT at the applicable rate (currently 25 %). Your order confirmation / receipt shows the parking fee and VAT separately and as an inclusive total.
4.2 Parking in excess of the booked period
If the entrance / exit times that were booked change, (as a result of the actual time the vehicle was parked), this will result in that you will be charged for an additional 24-hour period in addition to the actual time booked, and you will be responsible for paying the additional 24-hour charge (which will be charged at the standard hourly rate). The rates are displayed at the entrance to the parking facility and on our Website. The additional charge must be paid before you leave the parking facility. Please note that this rule applies regardless of the cause of the additional hours parked.
4.3 Entering and leaving the parking facility
When you drive up to the facility for which you booked space, it is vital that you follow the instructions you were sent by e-mail when you booked.Please ensure that you have dialed your correct registration number of your vehicle. You can change this on "Manage my booking" 24 hours before arrival time.
4.4 Your vehicle is parked in the parking facility at your own risk
Apcoa Parking Norway and the Airport dedicate considerable resources to ensuring that the parking facilities are as secure and safe as possible. We cannot however guarantee 100 % security / safety at the parking facilities at all times.
It is your responsibility when you park your vehicle to ensure that:
Apcoa Parking Norway is not responsible or liable for any loss or damage of or to the vehicle or property resulting from failure to comply with the above.

4.5 Conduct at the parking facility and all other areas at the airport
4.6 Vehicles that are not collected after expiry of the booked parking period
If you fail to collect your vehicle within 30 days from expiry date of the parking period as stipulated in the advance booking, you must contact us and provide the following information:
In cases where we do not receive written notice as described above the vehicle will be deemed to have been abandoned. In such case we have the right to remove the vehicle at the owner’s cost and to charge the credit card of the person who made the booking with accrued parking fees (unless we receive written instructions to take other action).
4.7 Access to the terminal
Parking facilities are located at various places near the terminal.
5.1 General on cancellation and changes
If you wish to cancel or change your booking this can be done on the Website you used to make the advance booking. Click on ”Mine Reservasjoner” (My reservations) on the site Website and follow the instructions shown on the screen. Please note that some products cannot be cancelled or changed:
This depends on the terms of service offered (for example if you were given a discount). Check the applicable terms for the various products on the Website.
5.2 Deadline for cancellation and changes
In order for the cancellation or change to be valid Apcoa Parking Norway must receive this at the latest 24 hours prior to the entrance date and time to the facility shown on the original booking. Cancellation or changes are not accepted after expiry of the deadline.
5.3 Cancellation and change fees
A fee is levied for cancellation and/or changes for some products while others may be cancelled or changed at no charge. This is most often due to campaigns. If for example you take advantage of a generously discounted product that is valid for a defined time period and wish to change the booking to a time period outside the period covered by the campaign, the change fee will be equal to the difference between the campaign price and the and the price for the time period you wish to change to. The same applies to a cancellation. Cancellations are in most cases not permitted for products with a high discount rate (one can for example compare the rule to airline tickets and capacity). The fee will be displayed in your ”shopping basket” when you book your parking reservation.
5.4 Refunds or payment of additional fees
In the case of products for which cancellation and/or changes are allowed, you may be entitled to a discount or be required to pay an additional fee.

5.6 Negligent cancellation on the part of Apcoa Parking Norway
If Apcoa Parking Norway cancels your booking for a reason under Apcoa Parking Norway's control and not due to circumstances beyond Apcoa Parking Norway's control (see section 6 above) Apcoa Parking Norway will refund the purchase price directly to the same credit/debit card used when the booking was made.
5.7 Charges for payment with debit / credit cards
We reserve the right to not refund debit or credit card payment charges. This is to cover costs imposed by credit card companies and relevant administrative costs. The scope of such costs will be clearly indicated prior to the booking being confirmed and shown as part of the administrative costs or cancellation or change fee.
Apcoa Parking Norway is not responsible or liable for any errors or deficiencies that may result from the lack of ability to carry out its obligations due to events or circumstances beyond Apcoa Parking Norway's control. Examples of such events and circumstances include war or the threat of war, riots, civil war, threats of terror or terrorist acts, labour conflicts such as strikes and/or lockouts, natural catastrophes, fire, inclement weather, public regulations / construction work, airport closure and / or cancellations or changes to airline schedules.
Apcoa Parking Norway will not make any changes whatsoever to or cancel your booking if you wish to change or cancel your booking due to any event or circumstance described in sub-section 6.1. In the case of such events or circumstances incurring you must make any such changes yourself through the Website. Apcoa Parking Norway is not under any obligation to pay refunds in such cases.
Apcoa Parking Norway will conduct itself with all reasonable professionalism and care in providing services to you.
Nothing in these terms limits Apcoa Parking Norway’s liability in case of death or personal injury caused by our negligence or fraud.
Apcoa Parking Norway does not accept liability for indirect or coincidental loss, loss of profits, loss of customer satisfaction, loss of income or loss of data.
8.1 The Sale of Goods Act
All purchase agreements entered into between you and Apcoa Parking Norway via the Website are subject to Norwegian legislation.
8.2 Amendments and changes to the terms
We reserve the right to change or amend these terms if this is deemed to be necessary. This notwithstanding, when you have completed a booking the terms published on the Website at the time payment for the booking was executed will apply. Please do not assume that the terms that applied for any previous booking you may have made continue to apply to any new booking you may make. We recommend that you always read the terms in advance of making a new booking in order to ascertain that you accept the terms.
8.3 Completion of a booking entails that you accept the terms applicable to the Website and the booking
When you complete your booking through the Website you simultaneously confirm that you have read and agree to the said terms. These terms represent the complete agreement between you and Apcoa Parking Norway for the sale of the services in question.
8.4 Terms relating to special circumstances
These Terms apply solely to the display on this Website. Separate terms apply to prize draws, competitions and campaigns we may operate via the Website from time to time, and to products and services we sell via the Website. In cases where separate terms than the present Terms apply, this will be clearly stated.
8.5 Special offers for parking
Special offers for parking (campaigns) made by Apcoa Parking Norway and the Airport incorporate a defined promised price for a given product for the period of time indicated. The campaign will be for a limited time within stipulated dates. Communication in our marketing shall always be clear and concise in describing the criteria for the offer:
8.6 Sale of official airport Parking
All parking sold via the Website by Apcoa Parking Norway is for official airport parking. This means that the parking facilities are operated in partnership with the landowner, Lufthavnutbygging AS. See also sub-section 1.5.
8.7 Barriers and parking controls
All parking booked and paid for via the Website is within the barriers at the airport parking facilities. This means that normal parking controls are not in force in the facility. If however you park in a reserved space without having a permit to do so, you may be charged a parking control fee. Reserved spaces can for example include HC spaces (unless you have a valid HC sticker in your vehicle), Spaces for electric vehicles (unless you have an electric vehicle) and similar. Reserved spaces are always clearly marked.
8.8 Standard terms for parking
Otherwise, the ”Standard Terms for Parking” (see www.parkeringsklagenemnda.no) apply when booking a parking space. You agree to the terms when you park or drive in the parking facility.
9.1 Personal privacy
All personal information you provide when using the Website will be used in accordance with our guidelines for the protection of personal privacy. You can read about our guidelines for the protection of personal privacy by clicking on ”Personvern” in the footer text on the Website. The sub-sections below provide a summary of the protection of personal privacy policy for the Website.
Apcoa Parking Norway adheres to Norwegian Privacy Legislation in force at any one time. All personal information gathered via the Website is dealt with in accordance with the legislation in force at any one time. It is Apcoa Parking Norway's wish that you feel secure when you visit the Website. We treat your personal details with the utmost confidentiality, with Apcoa Parking Norway as the processor of the information.
You are entitled to request information relating to the processing of your personal details in connection with our services at any time. If you provide us with corrections to your personal details, Apcoa Parking Norway will carry out the necessary revision.The addresses and contact information to both Apcoa Parking Norway and our customer service are shown in the introduction.
You can visit any of our Websites without providing personal information. If you wish to make use of our services however we will require some personal details:
9.1.1 Gathering of personal information In order to provide our services we require certain personal details. We will request this information when you book parking in advance via our Website, or if you request information about our other services. Personal information gathered by Apcoa Parking Norway in such cases is restricted to your e-mail address, your name, address, telephone number, credit card number and similar. Necessary information will be marked with an asterisk *. This represents the minimum information we require to be able to complete your order and booking in a secure manner. There will also be ”free choice” fields that you complete if you wish in the interests of practicality and that will enable us to present the optimum solution for your requirements. Sensitive information is always encrypted (for example all information concerning payments) and in compliance with the regulations stipulated by the credit card companies that own the various card brands that can be used on the Website.
9.1.2 Gathering of other information Apcoa Parking Norway also gathers other information on your hardware and software (through the use of cookies). Such information may include: your IP address, Web browser, operative system, domain name, access time and referring area addresses. This information is used in the operation of the services, maintain the quality of the services and provide general statistics relating to the use of the websites. Such information is not linked to your personal information. Read more about cookies in sub-section 9.5.
9.1.3 The use of personal information We use your personal information to supply the products, services and information you request, or as necessary in connection with the purchase of our products and services. Your personal information is also used to inform you of special offers, provide you with updated information and to inform you of new services, but only if you have agreed to this in advance.Apcoa Parking Norway only supplies information to others – with the exception of that which results from the above – when this is in accordance with the Personal Data Act or the legislation governing the protection of personal privacy in force at any one time, or when this is necessary to protect and defend the best interests of Apcoa Parking Norway as a company, its rights, employees, customers and the general public.
Your personal information is dealt with by Apcoa Parking Norway, with Apcoa Parking Norway as data processor. Apcoa Parking Norway will nonetheless use the services of a data processor abroad for data storage, as mentioned in the introduction.
9.1.4 Security and personal information Our Website is protected with SSL technology (Secure Socket Layer). This means that all personal data is encrypted so that no one can misuse or abuse the information.
9.2 Communication with the customer
When you make a booking you inform us whether you wish us to communicate with you over and above such communication that is necessary in order to fulfil the agreement. You do this by entering an X or ticking the box stating that you wish to receive other information, for example marketing information via e-mail. If at a later date you wish to stop receiving such information, you simply remove the X or tick the next time you visit the Website.
We will occasionally ask you for your opinion about our services, the Website or similar. Our use of your comments and personal information provided by you will be dealt with in accordance with these Terms and the provisions of the Personal Data Protection Declaration. If you are under the age of 16 you must have the permission of your parents or guardian.
Any contribution you make must not include any text or images that is / are unlawful, offensive, threatening, defamatory or discriminating, nor shall it encroach on the rights of others.

We work actively to increase accessibility to and the user-friendliness of our Website. This entails that we adhere to all the relevant standards, protocols and guidelines for e-commerce.
